Come and learn chisel and jointing techniques to make your own multi-functional piece of furniture.
Prototyped in 2025 at our first workshops, this design gets you making simple joints to create a bit of furniture that you can take away with you at the end of the day.
It can be a foot stool, a bedside table, a place to put your coffee in the mornings or whatever you want it to be.
You will learn chisel and jointing skills
All using materials that we diverted from landfill!
Hours:
9.30am-4pm (with 2×15minute tea-breaks and a 45 minute lunch break)
Skill level: Beginners or Improvers
Previous experience is not necessary, but we also welcome those who have done some practical work before. We aim to work at a pace which is comfortable for every one.
Circular Margate is not-for-profit. The fee for the class covers the workshop leader, an assistant and consumables.
