Come and learn chisel and jointing techniques to make your own stool.
Prototyped in 2025 at our first workshops, this stool design gets you making simple joints to create a bit of furniture that you can take away with you at the end of the day.
It can be a foot stool, a bedside table, a place to put your coffee in the mornings or whatever you want it to be.
All using materials that we diverted from landfill!
Hours:
9.30am-4pm (with 2×15minute tea-breaks and a 45 minute lunch break)
Skill level: Beginners or Improvers
Previous experience is not necessary, but we also welcome those who have done some practical work before. We aim to work at a pace which is comfortable for every one.
Circular Margate is not-for-profit. The fee for the class covers the workshop leader, an assistant and consumables.
