Come along to the Materials Hub in Margate and make a bench for your garden or for your home, using just hand tools.
Learn chiseling and jointing skills, as you construct a bench (max 800mm long) from our stock of reclaimed materials.
The sessions will be on the following days and times:
Thursday 3rd September 6-8.30pm
Thursday 10th September 6-8.30pm
Thursday 17th September 6-8.30pm
Thursday 24th September 6-8.30pm
We envisage the bench taking between 3 and 4 sessions. The first session is compulsory.
Skill level: Beginners or Improvers
Previous experience is not necessary, but we also welcome those who have done some practical work before. We aim to work at a pace which is comfortable for every one.
Circular Margate is not-for-profit. The fee for the class covers the workshop leader, an assistant and consumables.
